As simple or as complicated as you like, breakfast is the first meal of the day for most. Derived of the two words break, and fast, the name appropriately describes the breaking of a fast occurring between the first meal of the day and the final meal of the previous night.
Breakfast honestly, is my favorite meal of the day for a few reasons, the main one being, the fun food choices. I will be posting several of my favorite recipes I have found on line, along with those from friends and MCBMI women! The website where the recipes can be found will always be posted in the post, unless it is my own personal concoction, which will be rare! Please rate and leave comments, it will be greatly appreciated.

As a child, I always preferred pancakes to waffles, but as I have gotten older, my tastes have changed. There is nothing like a waffle that is crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, the kind that soaks up just the right amount of syrup. So if you are a waffle lover, try these oat waffles by Cookie + Kate. They are an easy to make gluten free option, and they taste great!
